Pasture-Raised Fresh Whole Chickens
Here at Sonrise Farms all our chickens are raised on pasture.
Fresh chickens in any quantity can be purchased twice each year. Frozen chickens and chicken cuts can only be purchased in our farm store.
Do you sell GMO Free Chickens?
Yes, our chickens are raised on fresh pasture and fed non-GMO feed (chickens unlike cows must have grain in their diet).
Unfortunately we don’t have enough hours in our day to raise the chickens on our farm anymore, but our chickens are raised by a young family in the Kankakee area, exactly how we would do it.
- Fresh chickens are $5.75/lb. with an approximate weight of 5 lbs x $5.75/lb = $28.75
- Deposit is transferable but non-refundable and will be deducted from the final price.
- We will contact you approximately two weeks prior to the pick up date to finalize the date and time of pick up.
- After processing is completed, your fresh chickens will be ready for pick up at our farm store.
- Sonrise Farms accepts cash, checks, and credit cards.
