At Sonrise Farms we raise and sell only 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef. Our cows are pasture-raised and finished — they spend their entire lives eating only grass.

WHAT kind of beef can I buy?
- Custom Cut Orders (halves & quarters) will be available in October & November
- Individual cuts by the pound are only available in our on-farm store - steaks, roasts, ground beef, patties, jerky, etc.

What is your BULK FREEZER BEEF PRICING?
- Halves: approx. 320 lbs (hanging weight) x $6.59/lb = $2,109 (approx. 220-240 lbs of packaged meat)
- Quarters: approx.170 lbs (hanging weight) x $6.99/lb = $1188 (approx. 100-120 lbs of packaged meat)

Custom processing fees are included in price.

Other things you might want to know:
- Quarters are actually a half of a half, not the front or back quarter so you get some of everything. 
- All beef is dry-aged for 14-21 days to accentuate tenderness and taste.
- Individual cuts are vacuum packed in thick clear plastic wrap.
- Halves and quarters are packed in white freezer wrap.
- Sonrise Farms accepts cash, checks, and credit cards.
- Gift Certificates are available.



I first began making a major shift in diet a few years back when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. We buy as much grass-fed meats as possible, along with organic foods, etc. Buying a 1/4 beef - as we are still meat lovers! - will afford us the clean foods we desire with a bit of a savings.
