Mark Brady and Katie Kennedy have been operating Timberfeast Farm in Chatsworth, Illinois for four years. Our connection began a couple of years ago when Timberfeast started marketing Sonrise Farms grass-fed beef under the Timberfeast label in the Chicago land area.

We are excited to expand our partnership with Mark and Katie. Their commitment to raising high quality food through humane techniques, organic standards, and sustainable and regenerative farming practices is something we greatly respect.

This year we will be offering to our customers the Broad Breasted White turkeys raised at Timberfeast. These turkeys are brooded for 4-6 weeks and then moved to a “chicken tractor” which is temporary pasture housing until they are old enough to be move onto open pastures where they can free range.

At Timberfeast, turkeys are given organic feed consisting of corn, soybeans, fish meal and wheat. During their last 8 weeks they are switched to organic, soy-free feed.
